On Aug. 1, Michael Lynne’s Tennis Shop celebrated its 35th year in business.

Thank you to all our loyal customers, partners, employees, and community members for a remarkable ride.

On this day in 1990, Michael Lynne’s first opened its doors to the public.

With unmatched service and selection, Michael Lynne’s has earned the reputation of being the largest and most trusted independent tennis and pickleball shop in the Midwest.

“It’s all about giving great service,” Michael Lynne said.

Michael Lynne’s is proud to offer customers a more personalized approach than the big box stores.

“If you worry about the other guys, you’re going to go out of business,” Mimzy Lynne added. “We try to do what’s best for us and our customers.”

The pickleball boom has brought so many new faces into the store, and it’s no secret why: Michael Lynne’s has a 42-foot pickleball wall to meet the needs of every customer.

“We’re building so many relationships with new people,” Mimzy said.

“And they’re coming from all over — all the adjacent states,” Michael said. “It’s unbelievable.”

Michael and Mimzy show no signs of slowing down.

“Every day is a new adventure,” Mimzy said. “You never know who’s going to come in the door. If you can help them with the right equipment so they can have fun, be active and enjoy themselves, that’s what we love.

“We’re seeing little kids grow up. It keeps us young.”
